With the autumnal equinox this past week and the rich harvest of fruit on the trees, it was the perfect opportunity to bake a warming spiced loaf.

This Apple and Cinnamon Sourdough smells of fruity spice from mixing at the outset through to the finished crusty treat.

My first attempt at this bread and a pleasant surprise it is!
